Megagen Individual Abutment

The abutment is the connector between the implant in the bone and the crown you see in the mouth. An individual abutment is made for your specific case, from a digital scan, so that the crown sits at the right angle and the gum line looks natural.

Why individual rather than stock

A stock abutment comes in a few standard shapes. An individual one is designed from your own scan, which gives the technician control over the shape of the crown's emergence from the gum. That matters most for front teeth, where the gum line is visible, but it improves the fit on back teeth too.

When it's fitted

Once the implant has healed and the gum shaper has done its work, we take a digital scan. The individual abutment and the crown are made from that scan and fitted together, usually in one visit.

Price

A Megagen individual abutment costs 350 GEL and is priced separately from the implant and the crown.
