Temporary Crowns

A temporary crown protects a prepared tooth while the permanent crown is being made in the laboratory. It keeps the tooth from sensitivity and damage, holds its position and lets you eat and smile normally in the meantime.

How it works

The temporary crown is made and fitted at the same visit the tooth is prepared and scanned. It stays in place until the permanent zirconia crown is ready, usually a short time later. A temporary crown is also used on implants during healing, when needed.
